Grupo Orobianco has chosen Barcelona for its first major urban project outside Calpe. The result is Osteria Condal, a restaurant located in the space that was once home to the legendary Tickets by Albert Adrià, and later Teatro Kitchen & Bar. More than simply opening a new restaurant, the project brings new life to one of the city’s most iconic dining addresses on Paral·lel.

The culinary direction is led by Paolo Casagrande, one of the most respected Italian chefs in contemporary fine dining, while Andrea Fiori, whose career includes Lasarte Barcelona and Da Vittorio Shanghai, oversees the kitchen’s daily operations. The team also includes Agostina Fernández as maître d’ and Marc Dot, who oversees the restaurant’s wine cellar and the wine selection accompanying the tasting menus. The list features around 300 labels, with a strong focus on Catalan wines complemented by leading Italian and international producers.

Italian tradition meets the Mediterranean

Osteria Condal reinterprets the traditional osteria concept through a contemporary lens. Seasonal produce, refined technique and apparent simplicity define a menu that evolves every three months, combining Italian recipes with local ingredients and broader Mediterranean influences.

Guests can choose between two tasting menus: Frenesí, a six-course experience priced at €70, and Paral·lel, designed for sharing at €90. An à la carte menu is also available, featuring dishes such as linguine with tomato pil-pil and clamscorn curd with mantis shrimp and samphireseafood fregolaseasonal risottosmarket fishcharcoal-grilled meats, and reinterpretations of Italian classics including tiramisù and babà, alongside local-inspired desserts such as mel i mató with miso ice cream.

Hospitality, design and relaxed sophistication

Beyond the cuisine, Osteria Condal embraces the welcoming spirit of traditional Italian osterias: places designed for sharing, conversation and relaxed dining without the formality of classic fine dining. The restaurant offers 70 indoor seats, an open show kitchen, a 16-seat terrace, a cocktail bar and a private dining room.

Designed by Astet Studio, the interior draws inspiration from the Mediterranean through natural stone, wood, ceramics and an undulating ceiling that evokes the movement of the sea.

🍽️ The result is a space that balances elegance with warmth, reflecting Grupo Orobianco’s core values: culinary excellence, genuine hospitality and deep respect for outstanding ingredients. With Michelin-level expertise presented in a relaxed and approachable format, Osteria Condal is set to become one of Barcelona’s leading destinations for contemporary Italian cuisine.
