A brewery seamlessly connecting product and territory
CTretze Pirineus, km 0 beer from the heart of Pallars
CTretze Pirineus has been brewing craft beer in La Pobla de Segur for nine years. Driven by young entrepreneurs from the Pallars Jussà region, the project uses locally sourced ingredients—locally grown hops and regional water as the core element—and has established itself as the highest-producing brewery in the Catalan Pyrenees.
A concept rooted in Pallars Jussà
CTretze takes its name from the C-13 highway, the main road that connects the Pallars region, serving as a statement of intent: linking territory and product.
Located on Avinguda de la Estació in La Pobla de Segur, the facility combines craft production with a public space that hosts concerts, tastings, and special gastronomic events. Nine years of growth back their solid positioning within the Catalan craft beer sector, maintaining a sharp focus on process quality and customer loyalty. While they do not offer regular guided tours, they organize events that allow visitors to experience the project firsthand.
Four beers, four distinct profiles
The current lineup features four main references.
La Fura, a 4.8% lager, serves as the perfect introduction: light and balanced, designed for those discovering craft beer. La Solana, a 6.2% pale ale, offers a fruity, golden profile, ideal for palates seeking more body while maintaining freshness. L’Obaga, a 5.9% brown ale, features caramel and woody notes within a malty, toasted character. Finally, Impala, an IPA crafted with double dry hopping, caters to fans of intense hop profiles. All four recipes incorporate hops grown in Pallars and water from the Noguera Pallaresa river as their defining ingredients.
A space that goes beyond brewing
The brewery is far more than just a production site. It includes a dining area and hosts cultural activities, turning the brewery into a vibrant gathering spot for the county.
This social dimension has been part of the project since day one: CTretze’s goal is not just to brew high-quality beer, but to shine a spotlight on mountain regions that are often overlooked in culinary circuits. The result is a project that shines both as a regional product and as a compelling reason to visit Pallars Jussà.
