Footwear craftsmanship elevated to art
TLB rescues the shoemaking tradition of Inca for masculine luxury
From the heart of Inca, the cradle of Mallorca’s finest shoemaking tradition, Toni Llobera Barceló has turned a three-generation family heritage into an international benchmark brand. Founded by him in 2017, the firm combines century-old techniques with noble materials to create footwear and accessories that transcend fashion and become pieces of authentic Mediterranean craftsmanship.
Three generations at the service of artisan excellence
Barcelona, November 16, 2025
Each piece is created by hand, avoiding mass production, and integrates elements gathered from Mediterranean nature to guarantee sustainability and exclusivity.
Maria Lourdes Freixa Agustí, known as Lulu, started this project more than a decade ago, formalizing it in November 2021 after leaving a 15-year career in advertising as a designer. During motherhood in 2011, she studied for a Degree in Artistic Jewelry at La Industrial Art School. The pandemic led her to prioritize family while collaborating in national and international exhibitions. The studio promotes manual techniques in danger of extinction, using local materials such as silver, copper, and organic fibers.
Thematic and Sensorial Collections
After his key stage at Yanko, Toni Llobera committed to his own vision of what artisan footwear for men should be.
He converted a former women’s footwear factory into a workshop specialized in luxury men’s products, gathering a team of 45 expert artisans heirs to the Mallorcan tradition. Current production reaches 150 pairs a day, each subjected to more than 150 manual processes that guarantee absolute precision. Each shoe is born from the rigorous selection of Boxcalf and Museum Calf leathers, sourced from the best tanneries in Italy and France. Control is exhaustive: any leather that does not meet the standards is discarded without hesitation.
Goodyear: the centennial technique for lasting comfort
TLB Mallorca applies the Goodyear construction method, a technique that ensures resistance, breathability, and the possibility of indefinite resoling. The mounting of the leather on noble wood lasts, manual stitching, and hand-polished finishes turn each pair into a unique piece. The firm complements the footwear with belts and accessories made with identical attention to detail, using traditional techniques passed down from generation to generation. Before reaching the customer, each product is personally reviewed to guarantee an exquisite result. This commitment to quality has allowed the brand to consolidate itself in demanding European and Asian markets, without ever renouncing the spirit of the local craft.
Collections celebrating the sensorial experience
TLB Mallorca does not limit itself to manufacturing footwear: it creates pieces that convey exclusivity and authenticity, becoming a true tribute to Mediterranean craftsmanship and the constant search for a unique experience for an audience that values traditional savoir-faire over mass production. The “Artist Collection” represents the maximum expression of the TLB philosophy: shoes with names like “Picasso” or “Goya” that play with sophisticated textures and deep tones, designed to offer an extraordinary aesthetic and tactile experience. The “Sacchetto” line focuses on flexible construction, combining lightness with uncompromising classic elegance. Additionally, the brand offers personalization options that allow for the customization of specific details of the models.
